We operate the rental marketplace at rentham.com and the corporate site at rentham.co.uk. We are the data controller for your personal data.
2. What data we collect
- Waitlist: name, email address, city, referral source
- Contact forms: name, email, message content
- Technical: IP address, device type, browser, cookies
- Future users: ID verification documents, payment details (processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers)
3. Why we use it and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR:
- To run the waitlist and contact you about launch: Consent and Legitimate Interests
- To respond to enquiries: Legitimate Interests
- To improve our website and prevent fraud: Legitimate Interests

Under Nigeria NDPA 2023, we rely on your consent for marketing and legitimate interests for service delivery.
4. Where your data goes
- Hosting and email: IONOS (UK/EU data centres)
- CDN and security: Cloudflare
- Analytics: privacy-friendly analytics with no personal profiling
We transfer data between the UK and Nigeria to support our operations team. We use UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with service providers under contract, payment processors when you transact, and regulators if legally required.
6. How long we keep it
Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or 24 months after last contact. Enquiries: 12 months. You can request deletion anytime at hello@rentham.com.

We use essential cookies for site function and optional analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the banner.
8. Your rights
You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your data. Email hello@rentham.com with "Data Request". We respond within 30 days.
